A couple suggestions

I already made a comment about this, but I would like to have the ability to enter the teams in our league, as well as scores around the league, in order to automatically update a standings table. Furthermore, my league has 2 divisions and has cross-divisional play, but our playoff seedings are based on divisional play, so I’d like to be able to see our divisional record and overall record separately, as well as the statistics that go with each category. It would be incredibly helpful if there were a “General Information” page where the manager could customize the page to have whatever information he/she deems important. For instance, I’m currently using Google Groups for our team page, and while it is nowhere near as sophisticated as TeamSnap, it does afford me the ability to post sections such as field locations, emergency contact info (my information and weather hotline), event websites, links to league rules, etc. TeamSnap offers a good portion of these in compartmentalized ways, but it would be nice to have one highly-customizable page with selectable information. Furthermore, the Google Group page has a Welcome section that allows me to post information/updates/whatever that my team members will see immediately when they go to the website. TeamSnap has a Messages section, but it seems like it could easily be overlooked. The ability to create folders in the photo/document section would be incredibly helpful, especially for larger teams/clubs. More customizable skins would be a nice feature, too, that would allow teams to more accurately display their colors proudly. I’m not sure if TeamSnap can do this (since I’m a manager), but it would be nice if members could login and enter stats that would have to be reviewed by the manager before they were published. This would save me some headaches in trying to keep track of all our stats myself. Being able to sort players by their last name in the stats section would be helpful, too. Editing html (or at least the ability to include hyperlinks with a text label) within event and game notes would be a nice feature. You can currently export rosters in csv format, but it would be nice to be able to import in csv, too. I have a bunch of people in my contacts list on my google account, and it would be so much easier if I could import them into Snapfish from a csv file, rather than inputting them manually. Also, how much will TeamSnap eventually run once the beta testing is done? Will there be a “pay for a season at once” option? Thank you. |

Thanks, Matt. I appreciate all the work you guys are doing. After beta testing the site for a while on my own w/o my team, here are the things that I would like to see most:
That’s all I’ve got right now. Thanks again, and keep up the good work. |

With regards to the active/inactive player feature, it would be convenient to have an option to restrict that inactive player’s access to the team site, as well (in case of suspension or something). I bring this up, also, because I’d like to have inactive players not appear on the payment list. It would just help clarify some things. |

Thanks for all the great feedback. We are definitely getting lots of great ideas from our users to sort through and prioritize. We appreciate the thoughtful comments. -Traci @ TeamSnap |

A field for a middle initial and a suffix for player names would be incredibly convenient. I now have 4 players by the name of John White on my team – John B. White, Sr.; John B. White, Jr.; John M. White, Sr.; and John M. White, Jr. Obviously, any helpful way of sorting these players more easily would be appreciated. |
