I was entering stats yesterday and I believe I messed up our site.
You see, I was looking at hitting stats and noticed that the acronym for strikeouts was “SO.” I thought that was weird, so I tried to change it to the traditional “K.” Well, of course, it wouldn’t let me since that acronym is in use as a pitching stat. So in order to try to make them both look like the letter “K” I did two things:
1. I changed the pitching “K” to a “K-”
2. I changed the hitting “SO” to a “K”
After I did this, the players stats, game stats and enter stats functions all returned an error message, telling me it isn’t my fault (but I shamefully know it must’ve been).
So I changed the acronyms back to the way there were. Well, that didn’t help. I’m guessing that hyphen I threw in there messed up the coding or something, but I don’t know how to unscrew up the situation now, so any help would be awesome. We have another game tonight and everyone’s always eager to check their site afterwards to see how their stats measure up.
