I think the following features would be very useful. Apologies if these suggestions have already been made.

1) As far as I’m aware, to broadcast a message to all team members, you have to sign into the TeamSnap site and use the message function.
I would like a feature where each team gets a “broadcast address” (e.g. myteam.mysport@teamsnap.com), where sending an email to this address will send it as a broadcast message, i.e. email the whole team. The message could still be captured and archived as usual.
I think this would vastly increase the usefulness of the message function.

2) I can’t find any option to say that a game was cancelled. I would like to see this included.
I realise that if it’s cancelled, the game can be deleted from the schedule, or if replayed later, the score can be added at that time. However, I would rather see some system where these differences can be recorded – I don’t want the system telling me something different to what I remember (e.g. that we had a week off and never played Team X).

3) I’d like to see Availability expanded into an Availability/Attendance section.
I envision a simple 2 column setup. Before a certain cut-off time, people can change their availability for a game/event; afterward, they can mark their attendance.
For me, this would be great for tracking training attendance.

Cheers guys.
The site is great – very useful and simple.
Best of luck as you decide on the direction to take it.

Hi JMc,

Thanks for the feedback. Here are some answers.

1) We’re working on this, but want to make sure that it avoids spam.

2) Click on the “More options” button when creating or editing a game and you’ll see a button to mark the game as canceled.

3) We are working on making Availability more robust, including historical attendance.

Thanks!
